The beach house or 'bathing pavillion' as it was known in its time. Some or all of this is still intact, however it is in private hands.
A colorized and a normal photo of Pembroke's Japanese gardens. The boathouse and tower seen in the background are still standing, having been incorporated into the current development on the site.
