The Aftermath at 'Winfield Hall'
Things look fairly grim for the western portion of 'Winfield Hall', the Frank W. Woolworth estate designed by C.P.H. Gilbert c. 1916 in Glen Cove, which partially burned on Wednesday afternoon. There is extensive interior damage, numerous broken windows and skylights and we're due for more snow on Monday. Let's hope they can at least get all of the openings covered up by then.
