'West Neck Farms' Stable
The stables complex to George McKesson Brown's 'West Neck Farms / Coindre Hall' in Lloyd Harbor. Also designed by Clarence S. Luce, the complex used to include a 100 foot tall water tower that has since been removed. The building is currently occupied as a church.

Old Westbury Horse Stable and Track
These stables and track were possibly owned by William deForest Manice, who was a former mayor of Old Westbury. The stables have not been in use for sometime, but I do remember there being horses there when I was little. Click HERE to see the stables and track on google earth.

'Hempstead House' / 'Castlegould' Stable
Howard Gould, son of Jay Gould, hired Augustus N. Allen to design him an entire complex at Sands Point. In 1902 work began on the stable, modeled after Kilkenny Castle in Ireland. Gould was to have Allen design his main house as well, but after he divorced his wife around 1907, the plans fell through and Gould went in another direction. In 1917 the estate was sold to Daniel Guggenheim.Tuesday, July 8, 2008
The Crossroads Carriage House
