Originally built for
Bronson Winthrop by
Delano & Aldrich c. 1903 in
Muttontown. Bronson later had the firm build him another house down the road, and his brother Egerton took possession of this house and gave it the name '
Muttontown Meadows'. This was one of
Delano & Aldrich's first commissions on Long Island. Today the house is part of the
Muttontown Preserve, and has the name of 'Nassau Hall'. Click

The house is due for a new coat of paint this coming fall.
There are a few random garden elements scattered around the property, including the
carved marble basin from Knollwood.
