To all of my Gold Coast friends, the
North Shore Land Alliance is spearheading
an effort to preserve our open space and prevent the development of the
Thomas Hitchcock estate in
Old Westbury to a cemetery that will hold around 150,000 'residents' as well as numerous cemetery outbuildings. The Village of
Old Westbury NEEDS to hear from you! Tell them you OPPOSE a cemetery this large and the effect it will have on the environment and ask them to extend the deadline for public comment (currently December 16th).
