Roslyn Paper Mill

Erected in 1744 in Roslyn, this was the first paper mill in the State of New York.  It was visited by George Washington in 1790 and restored by Harold Godwin, a resident who lived in Roslyn in the 19th Century.  Click HERE to see the paper mill on google earth.
