'Welwyn'
The reflecting pool and garden off the western wing of Harold I. Pratt's 'Welwyn' estate in Glen Cove.

This concept of a round or oval reflecting pool set in a naturalized hollow seems to have had some degree of popularity on Long Island. Wasn't there one behind the Winter Cottage at Caumsett and there was also one done by Russell Page behind the house at Kiluna Farm.
