When 'Farlands' Was For Sale
A brochure advertising 'Farlands', the Guernsey Curran estate designed by Guy Lowell c. 1918 in Oyster Bay with landscaping by A. Roland Sargent. It's a shame they demolished this house. I have an old article from an architectural magazine that shows interior pics and floorplans, and the house is comparable in size to some of the large McMansions they build today.
I always hate to see an old building torn down -- it is so sad.
