When 'Shoredge' Was For Sale

A brochure advertising 'Shoredge', the D.W. Smith estate designed by York & Sawyer c. 1910 in Cove Neck. York & Sawyer both had worked at McKim, Mead & White where Sawyer assisted Stanford White with his residential commissions. I don't believe that these pictures are of "Shoredge" in Cove Neck which was owned by Howard Caswell Smith. My mother-in-law was the daughter of the head butler and the family has pictures of the estate. This building is not the Shoredge that we are familiar with. Do you think there is a mistake or do you think there is another estate in Cove Neck, Oyster Bay, NY with the same name? Thank you.
