You must love this house, we get to see more pics of it all the time. And I must agree it seems to have one of the most beautiful intact gardens of this period. Does Mr. Phipps still live in it and have you been inside?

I agree with the previous comment; the gardens are magnificent. Your photograph of the pool is superb. The greenery of the lawns, shrubs and trees combined with the blue pool are beautiful and you've really captured the grand scale of the vista... very lovely.

As noted by another I'm delighted that we get to see more of this house over time. With nary another house in site, the open meadow, the thankful absence of any late 20th century additions or alterations it just looks as if you were able to walk back in time.

The architecture albeit a tad heavy does gracefully convey an immediate feeling of subtle power. I would suspect the home is bit dark inside as the six over six windows of the rear facade are relatively small.

The small personal nits aside this manor shows that restrained wealth, tastefully secluded on a plot of land, does still exist. If only we could see the stable complex ...
