The H.F. Godfrey Estate

The Henry Fletcher Godfrey estate designed by Walker & Gillette c. 1910 in Old Westbury. Godfrey was a member of the stock brokerage firm of Winthrop, Mitchell & Co. and was Master of Hounds for the Meadowbrook Hunt Club. Click HERE for more on the Godfrey estate.

It might be wishful thinking on my part but I detect a image of a structure that could match the floor plans of this house. Just south of the stables the roof line does not match the current house which shows a 1997 build date. You can still make out a straight cut thru the trees that lines up where the driveway would have met the front entrance of the house.
