'Killingworth'
'Killingworth', the Myron C. Taylor estate enlarged by Harrie T. Lindeberg c. 1922 in Lattingtown. Click HERE to see the brochure from when 'Killingworth' was for sale and click HERE to see the estate on google earth.
This house was covered with white painted siding originally looking like a large farmhouse. It was later enclosed with brick and added to. The house had an interesting gothic library added to it in a wing. The back enclosed loggia was added sometime in the 30s or 40s and had a glass block roof!

Another beauty that seems safe.
Myron Taylor donated the magnificent Collegiate Gothic building(s) of the Cornell Law School.
I had the privilege of staying there once. Beautiful place, breathtaking even, but was in desperate need of renovation back then.

I think this is how it looks today. How sad.
Hey is this the same mansion in the news right now involving the Russians? And is it on the corner of bayville Rd and factory pond Rd?
