Early in 1941 T. Suffern Tailer and his wife, George F. Baker's daughter Florence Baker Tailer, were divorced. Florence remarried Stanley Martineau shortly thereafter and the photos carry the label 'Mrs. Stanley Martineau'.

Yup. It's time for someone to write a book about Walker & Gillette---when they were good, they were very good, in a variety of styles.
Despite the encroachments, it is a lovely house from every view, a true sign of great architecture.

watch out for the new rotation thing on bing. when it rotates 90 degrees, i get vertigo.
