'The Shelter'

'The Shelter', originally the Levi Candee Weir estate built c. 1905 in Lattingtown and named 'The Hedges' and later the Edward R. Stettinius Sr. & Jr. estate (who gave it the name of this post). Click HERE to see the brochure from when 'The Shelter' was for sale. The house has since been demolished but click HERE to see where 'The Shelter' stood on google earth.

I was just looking through some old posts. What a beautiful house this was. I hope you finish your book. I'd like to read it.
