'Twin Oaks' Farm Group
The farm group to 'Twin Oaks', the Stuart Bryce Wing residence designed by James O'Connor c. 1919 in Old Westbury. Click HERE to see the 'Twin Oaks' farm group on google earth and HERE on bing.
I forgot to mention the obvious. Money is also a factor in when 'outbuildings' become 'farm group'. Duh. Maybe even the biggest factor.
The building I use as an office was formerly my great-grandparent's potting shed, once attached to a Greenhouse gone since the depression. It adjoins a small barn and another little building. I think I'll start referring to them as a 'converted farm group'
I believe the house was called "Wingate" when S. Bryce Wing owned the property. I have some old photos of the estate floating around somewhere, ill have to try and dig them out of the vault.....
