Dedicated to the preservation of Long Island's 'gold coast' estates and other things old.
Ancient?I forgot to mention the obvious. Money is also a factor in when 'outbuildings' become 'farm group'. Duh. Maybe even the biggest factor. The building I use as an office was formerly my great-grandparent's potting shed, once attached to a Greenhouse gone since the depression. It adjoins a small barn and another little building. I think I'll start referring to them as a 'converted farm group'
I believe the house was called "Wingate" when S. Bryce Wing owned the property. I have some old photos of the estate floating around somewhere, ill have to try and dig them out of the vault.....
