'Beacon Towers'
'Beacon Towers', the Alva Vanderbilt Belmont estate designed by Hunt & Hunt c. 1917 in Sands Point. Click HERE for more on 'Beacon Towers'. Photo from the Library of Congress.
Zach - these are absolute gems you keep unearthing with Beacon Towers. Great stuff!
An aside, but props to the workers who bravely were sent up on the highest turret roof of that sand castle. No minor effort to go up there back in the day.

A plaster and pasteboard whimsy. It reminds one of Colleen Moore's dollhouse
Looking east-north-east, from the lighthouse, I believe ~ towards that long curve of beach. These images just keep getting better and better!
