A search of Zach’s website shows ‘Sunshine’ & ‘Martin Hall’ are the only two houses (so far) designed by Little & O’Connor. The owners of these two houses were related & the houses sat next door to each other. Both are … exuberant (best word I can think of) & a little theatrical – is that more a reflection of the owners or of Little & O’Connor?

Why not a reflection of both? A conservative family would probably select a like minded architect to realize their vision. A larger than life personality would probably want that reflected in his architect and the resulting work. While sometimes architects are at odds with their clients, most often than not the collaboration works on so many levels. Sunshine appeared to be a knock your socks off eclectic menagerie of design and style.

It's gonna be a bright, bright, sunshine-y day.

Rather an ugly affair.

Oh, okay, after I wrote the above, I THEN clicked back to the older pictures. Still ugly, but actually quite marvelous nevertheless
