Kirby Hill is now a private residence within the Stone Hill subdivision, which you can enter off Jericho Tpke in Syosset. The estate was once 121 acres, and the developers have left 7 with the house. It's been for sale on and off, and is on the market again.

I can just hear the locusts in the heat and I can't wait to get under that big awning for a cold drink with ice brought in from an Adirondack lake.
I use to ride through there in the early 1970s. the house was stripped , gutters. screens,etc, at that time.

The estate surrounded the property where I grew up, and we enjoyed walking in the woods, snowmobiling, and skating on the pond for many years.
