great looking house---have always liked the very English arts & crafts vibe. Robert AM Stern did a much published addition to this house early in his career.
Here's a recent link to the house: http://observer.com/2011/08/robert-a-m-stern-designed-this-east-hampton-porch/
Very charming in style and scale. Nice to see it is extant.
The house has been so altered that it now parallels Lee instead of Cottage. Compare Google Earth historical imagery.
