I believe the term 'shirtbox rooms' applies here ~ room enough to "swing a cat," as the old saying goes ( apologies to kitty ). I'd prefer to spend my time in the plant-filled enclosed porch / sun parlor. Still a comfortable place over all.

Great photos Zach. I agree the rooms are large but seem to have low ceilings. In the second picture I like the armchair next to the piano -- it's on castors (too heavy to pick up?).

The dining table is also on castors. I like the [relatively] simple look of the dining room. It's a shame [probably] everything we see in the photos burned within a few years.

What exactly are the remnants that survive on the golf course?

I once saw a photo of the Creek Club property, from above. You can actually still see the outline of Veraton!
