'Lenoir'
'Lenoir', the Rufus Lenoir Patterson estate designed by Grosvenor Atterbury c. 1915 in Southampton. Click HERE and HERE for more on 'Lenoir'. Click HERE to see the residence on bing.
A tad overwrought, to be sure; I much prefer the property behind it on Great Plains Road -- the Fleetwood-constructed Beechwood, originally priced @ $38M & sold for $24M two years ago...

Some folk can't leave well enough alone, can they?
Notice that it's two lots east of the (absurd) imitation of Red Maples.
Zach's March 1, 2011, link to the Corcoran listing for $49.5 million is invalid now. Did 'Lenoior' sell?

Can't even fathom how much money it takes to maintain all those structures and grounds.
