What is that round object encircled by trees in the bottom left corner? It's tall enough to cast a shadow. Looking at Bing that area is now a parking lot.

Much as I love perfect proportion, careful integration of parts and beautifully resolved design, there is something bloodless about this place, fine though it is. One gets the feeling that the George Dupont Pratt's never ever cut loose. As to Doug's question: garden temple? Cistern? It is just outside of the boundary of the published garden plan.
