To me, that looks like a lot of work for not that much reward. My eye keeps wandering back to the bridge, which looks oddly industrial. Now, if there were a golf hole on that island ... I would see the point.
One's own private miniature golf course---now there's a status symbol not many have thought of. I agree Doug, one does yearn to see a nice little Chinese Chippendale railing on that bridge.
Looks as if they had a little trouble with the water level too
Ridiculous! Difficult to believe this was designed by a professional!
