The Dr. Frederick K. Hollister Residence

The Dr. Frederick K. Hollister residence in East Hampton.  Hollister was a both a doctor and teacher at New York Medical College.  He had another house designed by Albro & Lindeberg built c. 1910 also in East Hampton seen HERE.  Click HERE to see this Hollister residence on bing.

The house is on the south side of Lily Pond Lane on the block between Drew Lane and Tides Turn Lane. The other house Ancient has linked too is adjacent to this property, on the corner lot. Curiouser and curiouser.

A Google Street View from February 2013 shows the house intact.

Shutters are gone...

Thanks Ancient. My first post in weeks and I blow it... granted I was thinking as I was posting how much I didn't think that shingle looked like a Lindeberg. It does look like an Atterbury.

FWIW, it doesn't appear in Pennoyer & Walker's book on Atterbury.

Maybe it's Stanford White!!!
