Youngs Homestead

The homestead of Daniel Youngs built c. 1651 in Oyster Bay Cove.  Youngs was a descendant of Thomas Youngs, one of the first settlers to the area.  He hosted George Washington at the above house for two days in April of 1790.  Across the street from the house is Youngs Cemetery where Teddy Roosevelt is buried.  Click HERE to see the Youngs' homestead on google earth.
