When 'Dorwood / Sunny Skies' Was For Sale

A brochure advertising 'Dorwood', originally the Victor Emanuel estate designed by John Stewart Barney c. 1927 in North Hills. The house was later sold to Cornelius Kelley, chairman of Anaconda Copper Mining Co. and a director of the 1939 New York World's Fair, who renamed the estate 'Sunny Skies'. In 1958 Joseph Peter Grace II (who lived around the corner) purchased the house and outbuildings and donated the property to the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart.
