When 'Land of Clover' Was For Sale

A brochure advertising 'Land of Clover', the Lathrop Brown estate in Smithtown designed by Peabody, Wilson & Brown between 1912-17. Lathrop Brown was the brother of architect Archibald Brown who lived at 'East Farm' across Stony Brook Harbor. Click HERE to see 'Land of Clover' on google earth.

this is interesting ,as you read the for sale brochure it sounds as if the interior in not complete, but the pictures of the exterior show a series of ivy covered walls, mature trees etc. does anyone have any more info on these thoughts?

If you get a chance, go to the Knox School web site and take the campus tour. It takes you through the house and shows you how it is used today as a school facility. Nice interior shots as well.
