The Grounds of 'Talbot House'
The grounds of 'Talbot House', the Talbot Jones Taylor estate designed by Lamb & Rich c. 1895 in Cedarhurst. Click HERE for more on 'Talbot House'. A fire which started in the boiler quickly spread to the rest of the house and burned the mansion to the ground in 1914. Interiors to follow.

According to SPLIA a stable was converted to a residence. Location????
I can't believe this house lasted only 20 years. Why would they demolish it? So sad.
The thatched pavilion is lovely, no?
