I'm still very angry they tore down the old Garden City Hotel. I wonder if these homes still stand? If you drive around the town, you can still see some grand houses.

Sorry....not to get off the subject of Garden City...but I just posted a comment on Zach's pictures of SpringHill he posted a few days ago and just noticed the photos of the main gates. Driving down Post Road..when you pass that light(forgot the road name, but the one the Old Westbury Post Office and Police Station are on), you go a bit, and on the west side of the road are these magnificant wrought iron gates and a brick wall partialy demolished. I asumed that was SpringHill. But by the looks of Zachs' photos they are not.Does anyone know what house once stood on that lot?
