Isn't LC Tiffany interned here?
Yep...and he has a nondescript headstone. Not what you might expect.
The best time to visit Green-Wood is approaching. From late October to late November, on a clear day, the monuments and mausoleums seem to stand out in sharper detail. The grass has had a chance to restore itself and is lush and neatly trimed; remaining oak leaves are still evident on trees and nestled here and there in corners to add a bit of color to the scene. Those rows of older mausolelums set into the hillsides, such as along Edge Hill Path ( near Cypress Avenue ), beg for closer inspection by leisurely strollers. It was along Edge Hill Path that I encountered a family of felines that had set up housekeeping atop one of the tombs. They didn't mind having their picture taken any more than that red-tailed hawk, spotted by Zach, did !
Head south from Sassafras & Vine to Locust & you'll find the Catacombs; there was a time you could go in without being escorted.
The view from Myrtle Path in fall is also stunning.
