any idea when this one came down? I seem to remember a family, last name, DeSimone, living there in the 1970's.
I may be confused. However, Barbara West married Stoddard, Jr. and, as a wedding present, was given a home at Catawba Farms designed by O'Connor. I am familiar for my family acquired Catawba Farms after this home was built. I believe it still stands on property .. now wildly sub-divided.
Surprising that this house built more recently than most houses represented here, of a manageable size and a timelessly elegant, but understated style would meet demolition so soon in an area now populated by houses of nearly similar size.
I love it was called "Noview" such an unpretentious name for such an understated beauty. Very nice I believe!
