I bet the rain and especially the snow played hell with that roof.
Actually DFP- I've always found that the flat roves cause all the problems. Steeply pitched bits like this house seem to get by fine. That's my anecdotal experience at any rate.
Roofs. Damn autocorrect
It's a beautiful house, so unpretentious and, well, wholesome. I hope it does exist and is a real home.
And yes, flat roofs are a tremendous problem, speaking from personal experience.
I have a portrait of Clarkson Cowl's father in law, George A. Hearn. Does anyone know of family remaining? Warren G.
