Old Long Island Turns 1!
Today is the one year anniversary of the creation of Old Long Island, and what better way to celebrate than with a picture of the garden wall at 'Spring Hill' seen in winter.

great site, lots of wonderful pictures, and the google map connections are the greatest idea. a thought.....can you delve into each estate in a deeper way using a combination of overlays, picures, to give a better idea of the expanse, and compexity of these estates like the pratt compound, or marshall fields estate

I can certainly try. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on some old digital maps.
