Zach's June 12, 2014, posting of the 'Nirvana' gardens includes the stone lions you see in this postcard. So now you can see what the view was both out to the garden & back towards the house. I hope the Brokaws enjoyed it; give me 'Black Point.'

Wasn't there also a "Nirvana" owned by a Roosevelt in the Sailsbury, East Meadow area?
Great view. Love the terracing and garden steps that ground the very tall house to the surrounding estate.
So this is what it's like to achieve Nirvana...
