He's a bit of a mess...half his back and right leg are shaved, he isn't bearing any weight on his repaired leg yet and has spent most of last evening and this morning passed out on the floor next to me.
That said, he is acting totally normal, not fussing over the wound or the cone he has to wear and more than anything is just happy to be home.
Our next major accomplishment will be putting the leg down on the floor...hopefully by this weekend. Thanks for checking in : )
LOL Anon 11:09am -- I think that's been done & the lessons to be learned are 1) one of the two of them should be wearing pants & 2) it's hell to go through booking wearing a cone.
Thanks for sharing an updated picture, Zach. Poor Otto -- we can just hope he understands this is the healing process.

Glad Otto is doing fine...was thinking of him last night as I was walking my little-beasty...
Great church, but I was really just checking in on Otto.
Here's a pic of Otto after he got home last night, shaved leg, lampshade collar and all:

Awwww....the poor fella. He looks to be dealing with that collar well...
Zach...
I think you should shave your left leg and wear a lampshade so Otto won't feel so bad. You can both walk proudly down Fifth Avenue.

If the tail wags you know he'll be fine.
